Update 2/8/11: I had great hope of updating this with tons of great photos people have been sending me but to no avail. I am off in 10 minutes for my annual family vaction overseas. I have been busy building shelves and sorting the second of four sections of the attic this past month. You can't even believe what has been uncovered! Frequent updates throughout February. I have lots to tell you in little time. Update 12/16: I can't see straight. dAN's Parents House has been going 24/7 for the last three days. UPDATE 11/10 Last week was one of the best weeks I have had in a long time! Thanks for making that happen. I have 3 fantastic vintage rubber alphabet stamp sets from the 20's (boy that's a mouthful) for this weekend. There is also a new pile of pulleys. I am shopping on Thursday and will give you one more update Friday. dAN's Parent's House is confirmed for Gifted at 1 Hanson everyday from Dec 15th - 23rd. UPDATE 11/5: I have only 2 outdoor weeks left. Tomorrow I have a new guitar and awesome kids piano. There are about 150 packaged Starting Line Up figures left from Don Mattingly to Michael Jordan. Come grab one before we only have Jose Okendos left. We also just got in several new steel letter punch sets as well as rubber letter and picture stamps from the 20's. The store is still a work in progress, you just ca,t see it yet as I am figuring out shipping. UPDATE 10/15: A great Photo essay on Flea here. I made it about half way down. That was probably about 7:15AM. There will be tons of new things tomorrow: Guitars, Tiny Pianos, Packaged toys, Knick Knacks Galore. I should have the beginnings of a store by the end of the month. About 2 years ago, my wife and I bought the house that I grew up in. The house came with 30 years worth of stuff. After getting little help with cleaning things out and a need for studio space, the idea to start dAN's Parents House was born. We are selling 30 years worth of a collecting family's treasures for the first time. Come visit dAN every Saturday at Brooklyn Flea.
