digital downloads

I am trying to upload an album a day to the downloads page. You can now get MP3's of Brook Pridemore's Reflecting Skin, The NY vs NJ Punk Rock Battle Royal , Endless Mike and The Beagle Club's We Are Still At War and Ivan And The Terribles - Status Quo Swap Meet. If there is an album you want available as a download, let us know and it will jump to the front of the line. While we encourage you to buy the actual physical copies of the albums, MP3's are the next best thing.

We also added lyrics to Brook Pridemore, Ivan sandomire and The Sweet Ones pages. Big updates on almost all of the bands posted on Monday. Go enjoy the sun.

Thanks all around

The show on Satrday was a blast. Thanks so much to Party Expo; everyone who came out; and Mischief Brew, Guitar Bomb, The Sweet Ones, Brook Pridemore, Crazy and the Bains, Ivan Sandomire and Spoonboy for playing. The next label showcase will be in early May and probably be the Crazy and The Brains full length release show. I am in Baltimore until Sunday night. Three more albums will be posted for download on Monday when I get back.

Sheeba is about to retire.

The shock from my van only cost $28 to fix. Thank god. Sheeba (The Crafty Records van) will take Reina and I to Baltimore next week for a Craft Show. This will be her final journey. Tips on a new (used) minivan would be much appreciated. Sheeba traveled over 185000 miles and will be retired in dignity.
We are gearing up for both the craft show as well as the big Crafty Records show on Saturday night. It turns out a certain someone (shh don't tell) will make a surprise set after all. We decided to bring lots of merch and sell it for extra cheap. We will have $10 hoodies, $5 shirts and 2 for one records and cds. Please bring an extra 20. All proceeds will go towards the new van fund.
I am off to the studio to make creatures. See you soon.

Oldilocks

I turned 30 today. Feel free to make fun by clicking Add comment. Come out and celebrate with me this weekend.

I have returned.

I am back from tour. It was fantastic. There were only 173 emails for me when I returned. Just a quick update, we added some new PRESS. Go Check it out.

Tour update

Tour is going swimmingly. We are finally South enough to not see our breath. Youngstwn Ohio is officially one of our favorite places to play. We also picked up The Empty Glass in Charlston West Virginia. Come check out Brook Pridemore and Doug Cote (of the Sweet Ones) on their last few days of tour. You can read about their exploits in Dougs Blog.

We spent a few days with Mike and Dan from The Beagle Club. They will have a new B Sides album available for digital download in the next month or so. We will keep you posted. They are also working on a new project called the Hit and Miss Engines.

Don't forget about the big Crafty Records show in NYC on February 20th. Come help me celebrate my birthday in style. It is a little over 2 weeks away.

NEW LAYOUT!

I got my first new computer of my entire life last week. It is the nicest thing I have ever owned. To celebrate, I remade the website. Please be honest and let me know what you think. It will be a work in progress for a few weeks, but let us know if something doesn't work. I am pretty happy with it so far.

In show news, February 20 with be my 30th birthday show with Mischief Brew (ACOUSTIC), The Sweet Ones, Crazy and the Brains, Guitar Bomb and Ivan and The Terribles. It will be held at new venue in Brooklyn called Party Expo at 929 Broadway. It is actually and old party store and hopefully they will have some goodies left over. Come celebrate me getting old with a bunch of great bands.

Finally Brook Pridemores A Brighter Light will be available on vinyl sometime in March. We are split releasing it with Say-10 Records and are thrilled about it. More details as they come in. You can now finally read the lyrics here.

AM New York article

For those on you in NYC, there is an article today on the economy and artists. It talks about Reina and I, the label and Brook Pridemore. It is the weekend edition so you have a few days to pick it up. (Note* I never said the label was a hobby before the depression but no hard feelings) We are excited about the press.

Today is a packing and layout day. New vinyl release news next week.

quick update

Just a  quick update. I heard from Brook Pridemore and he is currently on tour with The HIt and Miss Engines. Who is that you ask? Well it has a singer named Mike Miller from a band you know called Endless Mike and the Beagle Club. Go see them and tell them I say hi. I miss those guys.

I will be back to do mail in the US on Thursday.
