Sorry for the lack of updates. I have been totally consumed with my new project. It eats up a lot more time then I care to admit.

The Stick Martin Show has started a song of the month. You can check out the new song here. Just go to the Monthly Music tab under the music dropdown. While you are at it, go to Best of The Bay and vote for The Stick Martin Show. This helps them with tons of future shows in the area. We would be grateful.

Brook Pridemore is playing his last show in the states for a long time tonight in Asbury park at The Wonderbar. Then he heads back over to Europe from September 20 though all of October. Let your friends overseas know to catch him. We have big plans for Brooks next record.

We have had several meetings with an old friend of Crafty Records. We can not mention the name until things are set in stone. Lets just say that there is a probable new release coming from the antifolk scene in the next few months. I am trying my best to work this out soon so I can fill you guys in. I think you will be as excited as I am.

Reina and I are back from our 6 week trip out to Colorado  via our new minivan Felicia. Once I work out a few current bugs with the website, I will post a recap of the trip. The art shows went OK but we shopped at every antique mall in Middle America. The spoils from these stops are being sold at Brooklyn Flea every Saturday. Come out and say hello. 
An apology goes out to everyone whose orders were delayed. The remaining packages all went out yesterday with a few bonus goodies.
During those 6 weeks, Crazy and The Brains not only were finalists in the Anti-idol contest at Webster hall but they actually won the whole thing. They won some cash as well as recording time. They will be on a release with Rachel Trachtenburg's new band Supercute as well as other newer LES bands. They also have been written up in a lot of places like The New Yorker. Check out the name drop here. They have 2 new videos that they are wrapping up. They will be posted in a few weeks.
Expect a lot more updates and some exciting news. Its good to be back.

This entire Summer Guitar Bomb will be on The CONEY ISLAND COCKABILLY ROADSHOW!

The Sweet Ones are 80% along with out new record, being produced by Floyd Kellogg. Doug Cote is out in a remote island writing songs, and landscaping. Matt will be on tour with Guitar Bomb for the summer. This fall the Sweet Ones will have their 3rd official release.

Brook Pridemore, having just completed the six-month, nine-country Multinational Perspiration Tour, is enjoying his record collection, getting ready to move, and spending as much time on the beach as possible.  He is hard at work writing his fifth album of original songs, which might be titled New Standards, but also might be titled Brook Pridemore's Gory Details.  The new band, Brook Pridemore's Gory Details (featuring guitarist John Telethon, bassist John Two and drummer Doug Johnson-who perform on their own as The Telethons), have plenty of shows around New York before BP goes back to Europe in the fall for the Give Pridemore One More Chance Tour.

I am in Denver on my way to Nebraska. Sorry for the lack of updates. New release and tour updates in the next few days (on a real computer.) I promise I have not forgotten about you.

 Saturday was a blast. Thanks so much to everyone who came out and all of the bands that played. Judging by the number of cds sold, hopefully the traveling bands will have an excuse to come back to City Island in the near future. If you have good pictures send them our way. I got a little behind on the mail. All outstanding orders will go out tomorrow.

 The Punk Rock Bar B Que is THIS SATURDAY. The forecast is for 80 so there will be plenty of beer, lemonade and water (take your pick) I am thrilled to announce that Mikey Erg has been added to the bill. He has been a part of every bar b que but this is his first solo run. After you see him play, let him know you want him to release that album on Crafty we have been talking about for years. I really can't wait and am looking forward to seeing people I haven't seen in a while.

The new Crazy and The Brains Yellow EP is out NOW!!! Crazy , Brains and I screened the first batch of jackets this past weekend and they look great. You can order them now or pick up your copy on Saturday. We will have the whole catalog available as well as shirts galore. I gotta get back to my other 3 jobs.
