Back In Brattleboro July 15th After promising to be home for a while, I left to go to the Bratt Fest this Weekend with Brook Pridemore. Brook along with Endless Mike and The Beagle Club tore the roof of the Tinderbox on Saturday night. Both of their sets in front of 175 people were some of the best sets I have seen for either of the acts. A large portion of the crowd sang along as well as the ENTIRE crowd dancing and going wild. I wanted to send a quick thank you to Pat the Bunny and Abby Banks as well as the rest of the Tinderbox crew for setting up such a great show. If you were at the event and shot photos or video, please send us an email as we would love to post them on the page and give you a bunch of free stuff in return. This weekend we confirmed a 7" split with Mischief Brew and Endless Mike and The Beagle Club. Be patient because it will not be out until November. However, you now have even more releases to look forward to from Crafty Records. We also just started planing the 10 year anniversary party with every band that has ever had a Crafty Records release for early to mid 2009. Finally we have posted photos from We Are Still At Tour with Endless Mike And The Beagle Club. They were taken by jacob koestler . Check them out if you want to see what 16 people do on tour together. Real People Reviews July 8th Sorry the page has been slow the last few days. We are in the process of switching servers (if you don't know what that means, it doesn't matter) Things should be up to speed in the next few days. We have been sending out a ton of albums to be reviewed lately. So we decided that it is also important to have our regular audience be able to write reviews as well (you are really the ones that matter) We added the Real People Reviews page. Please stop by and post a review of an album that you own. There are still a few kinks to work out so feel free to email us ideas and comments. In release news, the Brook Pridemore Ghost MIce split 7" was sent out to the plant today. Due to records taking a million years to press, it should be available the beginning of September. We will post a track as a teaser every once in a while so keep your eyes open. The Stick Martin Show Thrilla had a giant problem at the plant. We tried a new company and it was a huge mistake. Needless to say that we will not use said company again. (We will spare you the details until it is all worked out) Since we will not have the cds for about 3 more weeks we figured out a solution. Anyone who orders the CD (starting tomorrow) will receive a free digital download of the album. When we get the hard copy of the cd, we will mail them to you. Thanks for your understanding. I'm getting married... June 26th I am home for good (at least for a little while.) I have been in motion since April 1st. Almost 3 months straight. Sometimes I feel like a shark. Here is a quick recap of the last few weeks. The Endless Mike and The Beagle Club 2 week 16 person We Are Still At Tour was a gigantic success. I cannot even express how kind everyone was to our traveling circus. We had places to sleep, food to eat and tons of people to play for every night. We are in the process of working on a book about the tour due out in the end of the year. In the middle of the tour was the 5th annual Punk Rock Bar B Que in the Crafty Records House backyard. During the thunder and pouring down rain I proposed to my amazing girlfriend who is nice enough to put up with my crazy life. She was also nice enough to say yes and is now joining the literal Crafty Records Family. A wedding as well as a 10 years of Crafty Records anniversary show is in the works for Spring 09. A gigantic thank you from me goes out to all of the bands and people that made this the best bar b que ever. I can not even express how appreciative I am for every ones help. If you have any pictures from the show please email me so I can get copies. Finally in commerce news, the Stick Martin Show album Thrilla will be out Tuesday July 1st. You can get a copy early this Saturday at the Dunedin Brewery if you are in the Tampa area. If not, order away and we will get them out the day we receive them. My newly seeded lawn can't wait to be trampled on. Rumor has it that The Endless Mike and The Beagle Club CD may be streamed on punknews.com on Monday. We will have to wait and see. There is a reasonable chance that We Are Still At War will actually arive at the Crafty Records house on Monday as well and will be shipped a day earlier than even planed.
